About this property

Welcome to Meliá Casa Maya Cancún All Inclusive

Situated along the shores of Kukulcan Boulevard in Cancún's well-known Zona Hotelera, Meliá Casa Maya Cancún All Inclusive offers direct beach access and a lively setting near Playa Langosta marina and local attractions such as a peaceful sculpture park and the Scenic Tower Cancún. The hotel features a variety of amenities including free Wi-Fi, outdoor pools, and several on-site dining options with all-inclusive packages available. Rooms are air-conditioned, some equipped with kitchenettes, catering well to families and longer stays.

The resort attracts a family-oriented clientele, with specific appeal to those traveling with children due to its kid-friendly facilities and a water park that helps keep younger guests entertained. While this vibrant atmosphere suits many visitors, travelers seeking quiet and solitude might find it less ideal, as noted in guest reviews. The pool area is active, especially in the shallow end where children often gather, contributing to the lively environment.

Dining receives mixed feedback; guests appreciate the quality at the a la carte restaurants but mention the buffet has a limited variety compared to larger resorts. Service is widely praised for being friendly and attentive, with staff frequently going beyond expectations to ensure comfort, which contributes positively to the overall guest experience. Some guests highlight the helpfulness of concierge and entertainment teams in enhancing their stay.

Accessibility to the hotel is convenient, with Cancun International Airport approximately a 30-minute car ride away. Nearby attractions such as Isla Mujeres and the underwater sculpture museum MUSA provide additional options for exploration. While it lacks certain amenities like a fitness center and airport shuttle, the property’s focus on beach access, family activities, and an all-inclusive model positions it well for visitors seeking a sun-centric, active vacation.

We just returned from our trip at Melia Casa Maya! It was a fantastic experience! The rooms are beautiful and the beach is amazing! Juan and the entertainment staff are excellent for adults and kids! A big shout out to Reyes for always being available! The food and drinks are delicious and always fresh and available! There's pickleball and nightly entertainment as well. I would recommend this hotel to anyone! Also Miguel on the beach was excellent with tour suggestions and jet ski rentals. There's also a banana boat and a fun ducky ride for kids! If you're heading to Cancun this is a must stay!

We are right now at Melia Casa Maya and it's a beautiful resort. Now I will put plus and cons. Plus: Rooms are gorgeous really big and spacious. Room cleaning is excellent. Hotel has great location and you can always swim in the sea and beach is really nice. If you don't want to swim in the beach they have a really big pool too. Service is excellent , everyone is really nice and hospitable. A la carte restaurants are really good. Cons: If you like some quite time maybe this is ot a hotel for you as it's really family oriented, especially families with little kids. Me and my husband don't mi d screaming kids but if that's something that bothers you look elsewhere. One more thing that needs some improvement is buffet, I find it really small and not that many food choices as at the other resorts I've been too. Breakfast is really good bit li ch and dinner needs improvement. Otherwise I really love and would recommend this hotel.

We just returned from a 5 day trip to Melia Casa Maya and couldn't have enjoyed ourselves more! The resort was super clean and well kept. The rooms were massive with small kitchenettes and bars in them. We did purchase the Level upgrade and found it to be well worth it. The best part of our stay though was honestly the staff. Everyone was so wonderful and went above and beyond for us. The resort is a kid friendly location. The shallow end of the pool stays very busy. We have wanted to find something in Cancun that would allow for our kids to enjoy the ocean and beach more without the waves and stronger current and this was perfect for that. We ate at Cape Nao most of the time, but did have dinner two nights at the Italian restaurant Cafe Nostra. We were happy with the food overall (though we are absolutely not foodies and are pretty content with most options) and the frozen drinks at the water park were lovely. Special shout out to Francine, Viktor, Javier, and Roddy as they were amazing and so very welcoming, but honestly everyone was wonderful!

This was our second trip back to Melia Casa Maya. We came last year shortly after they opened. Although the dining options are limited, we absolutely love the small feel of the hotel, and the beach and the water park. There were 15 of us total and we had a great time. We were especially excited to have Victor as our level concierge. He was a familiar face from last year and he went above and beyond to make sure our stay was wonderful. We want to thank him!! Another shoutout is to Rodiver at the level beach area, he was so friendly and attentive every day. He made our beach time extra great! Edwin and Jorge at the buffet also gave excellent service at breakfast. One negative, our level check in experience was stressful and took awhile. Having visited many hotels around Cancun, I was surprised that we were not even offered a cocktail or snack while we waited. Overall, we would return again. The beach is one of the best in Cancun. I do wish the hotel would limit the amount of people coming onto the hotel beach from the public beach and bitching tents in front of us, using hotel chairs, etc. The water park is awesome and the kids love it. We also loved the rooms, they are very spacious. We had a level swim out suit two years in a row.

We had a wonderful relaxing holiday at Casa Maya, the service that we received was excellent throughout our stay. The Hotel and grounds were constantly being cleaned and kept tidy. Rooms were very clean and spacious and serviced every day, the room minibar was refilled daily however it would have been nice to have had some wine as the alcoholic drinks consisted mainly of cans of beer. Evenings were spent mainly at Casa Nostra & Cape Nao restaurants (Cape Nao also for breakfast & lunch) and we have to say the quality & variety for us was excellent, the buffet had differing varied options available throughout the week during lunch & dinner, the BBQ on the beach every lunch was also great for those wanting to stay on the beach. Staff - I have to say that the staff throughout the hotel have to be the most pleasant & helpful that we have experienced during our years of travelling, nothing was ever a problem and any issue however big or small was dealt with. Rodi & Cesar were brilliant with their help in ensuring everyone where possible had sunbeds & shade on the beach, obviously there are occasions where guests could not be accommodated but they dealt with every issue very professionally and helped wherever possible. I have to say we had the pleasure of meeting some of the management team at the hotel and their professionalism, helpfulness, respect for all the needs of their clients was in my opinion excellent and they helped make our holiday the best it could have been! Thankyou. Would we go back.....oh yeah for sure we cant wait.... Attached is a picture of some of the wonderful Casa Nao team that made us feel so welcome....especially Jorge, Leanor & Marisol

Great sandy beach that is racked and cleaned everyday! Friendly and helpful staff. Delicious food (specially the salad options). You can book the a la carte restaurants, but it’s booked on a daily basis and there is a line up every morning. Small main pool but when you have this great beach why would you go to the pool? This hotel great for families with young kids, and the water park is a great end of day activity just to drain that last bits of kid’s energy left! On the downside, it is not a quiet hotel because of the closeness to the main street.

This was my first trip internationally ever and my first stay at an actual resort, not hotel. My expectations were exceeded in every way! The resort was beautiful, the food was good, the rooms were amazing! The service was top notch, everyone was so kind! The staff were absolutely amazing, from servers, to bartenders, to bellboys to room service. I want to give a special shout out to Mariana and Elias who were in charge of activities at the pool! They were so awesome! Mariana was exceptional, she got to know us during our stay and remembered our names every time she saw us and greeted us with smiles! I find that very impressive given how many people she sees! I’m in service myself and I took some mental notes from her! The rooms were spacious and clean, as well as the entire resort was always well maintained and clean. The entertainment also was amazing, I found myself wanting to attend every evening show by the pool and was never disappointed! I always felt very safe and welcomed during our stay and I can’t wait to come back!

We had a wonderful one-week stay at Meliá Casa Maya Cancun as a family traveling with our 20-month-old, my husband, and my mother. The smaller size of the resort was a refreshing change—it never felt crowded and felt very safe and comfortable for a family stay. What truly stood out was the service and the food. The buffet was excellent, especially Mexican night, and easily met our needs while traveling with a toddler. We also tried the Italian restaurant and enjoyed it. The entertainment team, especially Marianne and Elias, brought great energy, with activities available for kids throughout the day. Most importantly, the staff made our stay memorable. Albert at the beach was always friendly and attentive, Dylan at the buffet was a pleasure, and our Italian restaurant waiter was incredibly passionate and helpful. Above all, Giovanni truly stood out—always warm, attentive, and thoughtful, even remembering my husband’s favorite drink. He made our stay feel genuinely personal. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the spa was relaxing with kind, professional staff, and overall we felt very well taken care of. While the beaches in the Dominican Republic may be slightly nicer, everything else here—service, food, atmosphere, and sense of safety—was outstanding. We would absolutely return.
